Child Safety Standards

India Opinion is a political opinion app operated by Brain Hub AI Solutions ("Brain Hub", "we"). This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

1. Zero tolerance for CSAE

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualisation of minors, sextortion or trafficking of children. Any such content or conduct is strictly prohibited on India Opinion.

2. Adults only (18+)

India Opinion is intended only for users aged 18 and above. Users give their date of birth at registration, and voting is allowed only for users aged 18 and above. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 will be removed.

3. No user-to-user messaging

Users cannot message each other, follow each other or post content to other users inside the app. The app is used to read issues and record opinions in polls. Users can share poll questions and aggregated results only to external apps (such as X, Facebook or Instagram) using their device's share option.

4. How to report a concern

Please include as much detail as you can (for example, the screen, account or content concerned). Do not send copies of abusive images.

5. What we do

We review reports promptly. We remove violating content and suspend or permanently delete violating accounts. Where we become aware of apparent CSAM, we report it to the relevant authorities as required by applicable law, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian authorities, such as through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in). We cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.

6. Compliance with law

We comply with applicable child safety laws, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
