Delete your India Opinion account

This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from the India Opinion Android app, developed by Brain Hub AI Solutions.

1. Delete in the app (fastest)

Open the India Opinion app and log in.
Go to Profile > Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm and tap the delete button.

2. Delete by email

If you cannot access the app, email contact@indiaopinion.online from your own email account with the subject "Delete my account". Include your registered mobile number so we can find your account. We may ask you to confirm the request before deleting.

3. What is deleted

Your profile and linked data: name, mobile number, date of birth, gender, religion, caste and subcaste, state/constituency (location), wallet balance, referrals, AI usage history and login sessions.

4. What is retained

Data	Why	How
Votes	Keeping published aggregate totals accurate	Anonymised and unlinked from you. They cannot be traced back to your identity
Payment records	Tax and accounting law	Unlinked from your profile and kept only for as long as the law requires

5. Timeline

Your account is deleted within 30 days of your request. In-app deletion usually takes effect immediately.
